We collect only what is needed.
Here is what that means.
ARKVEIL LLC ("ARKVEIL") operates this website. This page explains how we handle information related to the website, communications with us, and orders. You can contact us at info@arkveilstudio.com.

What this site holds, and where
| Infrastructure | This site is served through Cloudflare, which processes visitor IP addresses, traffic and security logs, and may set strictly necessary cookies to keep the site fast and secure. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details. |
|---|---|
| On this site | We do not offer customer accounts. We do not use advertising trackers or marketing cookies on this website. Email link tracking is described below. You can view order and tracking information using your order number and checkout email. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits. It sets no cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not identify who you are. |
| When you email us | When you email us, your messages and our replies are kept in our studio mailbox (Google Gmail) to handle your enquiry. Our replies are sent through Resend, which also sends our order, shipping, returns and welcome emails. |
| Your cart | Your cart is stored only in your browser using localStorage and is not sent to ARKVEIL until information is submitted as part of checkout. |
| At checkout | When checkout is available, Stripe processes payments. Stripe receives the items in your order, your email address, shipping address, and other information needed to complete payment. ARKVEIL receives the order information needed to confirm and fulfill your order, but does not receive or store your full card number. If you use a personal code, you enter only the code on the order review page. We look up the email address it was sent to in our subscriber record (this still works after you unsubscribe) and pass that address to Stripe as the email for your order, so the order is placed under it. To keep each code to one use and to count its 60 days, we record that a code was used and the day the codes were sent (a date, kept against a hashed form of your email address, not the address itself). We keep these records for as long as we offer these codes and use them for nothing else. If you ask us to delete your data, we keep that date so the 60 days cannot restart. If you add a gift note, we keep it with your order only, so it can be packed with your piece. |
| When you provide your email | We send marketing emails only if you subscribe. We record your email address, signup time, signup source, consent record, subscription status and the personal codes we send you in our database hosted on Cloudflare. We use Resend to deliver emails and maintain our mailing list. We record links clicked in our marketing emails, but do not track email opens. We use signup source, link clicks and purchased product categories to organize the mailing list and select relevant messages. You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email. When you unsubscribe, we stop marketing emails and delete your Resend contact and subscription labels. We keep your email address marked as unsubscribed, together with a hashed suppression record, so that you are not emailed again unless you ask to rejoin. If you do, we send one email for you to confirm. Unsubscribing does not stop transactional messages about your orders. If you email info@arkveilstudio.com, we may retain the correspondence needed to reply and follow up. At checkout you can also tick an optional box to join the list. We then record the email address from your order, the time and the wording you agreed to. Subscribers who join after an order receive both codes, as any subscriber does. |
| Restock notices | If you request a restock notice, we store your email address with the item you selected to send you a one-time notification when it is back in stock. This does not subscribe you to our newsletter unless you tick the separate box to join our list. We delete the request after sending the notice or 12 months after you submit it, whichever comes first. |
Your data is not
a product here.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as necessary to run the store: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (website, data storage and forwarding of email sent to our studio address), Google (our studio mailbox), Resend (email delivery), and shipping carriers (delivery). If you choose to open an external tracking link (17TRACK or a carrier site) from our order-status page, that site receives the tracking number you look up.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We pass it only to the services needed to take payment, deliver your order and run this site, as described above. Because we don't track you across sites, we treat Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals as honoured by default. This site is not directed to children under 13.
Kept only as long as needed
| Retention | We retain order records as needed for tax, accounting, warranty, and legal requirements. |
|---|---|
| Your rights | You may email info@arkveilstudio.com to ask what information we hold about you, or to request correction or deletion where permitted by law. |
| Changes | We will post updates to this policy on this page. The date shown on this page indicates when it was last revised. |
