X.C Studio was founded in New York in 2020 by architect Xuechen Chen. It works across architecture, images and objects: a building, a film, a drawing, a scarf, each asked the same question about the space around a body.
X.C Studio is also an art studio, working alone and in collaboration. Its drawings and films have been exhibited and screened in Paris, Korea and New York, and its unbuilt architecture has won international design awards. The scale changes; the question does not.
