How to Choose a Sculptural Silver Bangle
A closer look at shape, size and the space around the wrist, with two bangles by YOOUJIW.

A sculptural silver bangle can look quite different from one angle to the next. Before choosing one, compare the front and side views, check the inner measurements, and look at how much room the shape takes up beside a sleeve. A broad front tells you little about the space inside.
YOOUJIW’s Möbius strip and Inside Out make a useful comparison. Both are made in 925 sterling silver. One has a curved, ribbed structure; the other follows a squared outline with an opening at one corner.
Look at the spaces as well as the metal
The Möbius strip silver bangle has narrow ribs with gaps between them. Across the front, those ribs spread into a wide section. Farther around the curve, they turn edge-on and look much finer. Skin or fabric remains visible through the spaces.

The openwork gives a broad piece a less solid appearance. It does not tell you how much the bangle weighs. If weight matters to you, use the product specification rather than guessing from the gaps.
Inside Out uses longer, flatter sections of silver. Its corners remain easy to follow from a distance. The side view shows the depth of those sections, which is harder to judge in a straight-on photograph.

If you like a repeated pattern across the wrist, start with Möbius strip. If you prefer a clear geometric outline, look at Inside Out. Compare both at the same image scale; a tightly cropped product shot can make the smaller object look larger.
Read the inner measurements
Möbius strip is listed with an inner diameter of 64 mm in M and 70 mm in L. Inside Out has inner dimensions of 53 × 53 mm. The first measurement describes a diameter; the second describes a squared space. They cannot be read as equivalent sizes, and neither is a wrist circumference.
For a closed bangle that slides over the hand, it needs to pass over the widest part of the hand as well as sit comfortably at the wrist. For an open design, the opening and the way it is put on also matter. An opening alone does not mean the metal is designed to be bent.
A bangle you already wear comfortably is a useful reference. Compare its inside dimensions and shape with the new piece. If the shapes differ substantially, ask about fit before choosing a size.
Leave room at the cuff
Picture the bracelet beside a sleeve you wear often. A ribbed bangle is easier to see when the sleeve ends above it. The straight edges of Inside Out give a shirt cuff a more angular neighbor.
If you want to wear either over fabric, allow room for the fabric itself. A fit that works on bare skin may feel quite different over a knit. Start with the bare wrist when checking size.
Finally, look at the surface in more than one photograph. Möbius strip has a pale finish that makes the ribs and spaces easy to pick out. Inside Out shows longer reflections along its flat sections. Those differences in light are part of what you are choosing, alongside the outline.
