Selected EUNXY

A small red circle, a fold of silver, a row of uneven pearls. Three pieces that explain our selection.

The red detail on EUNXY’s Flip Cuff is small enough to miss at first. A broad silver disc occupies most of the front; a much smaller circle sits at its edge, holding a spot of color. Once you notice it, the balance of the piece changes. The large disc gives it presence, while the red detail draws you closer.

That decision about scale is a good place to begin with EUNXY. Founded in Beijing in 2023, the brand works with simple geometry, natural references and sculptural forms. We selected pieces that make those interests visible in different ways, from a cuff that spreads across the wrist to earrings that follow the jaw.

Geometry with a personal reason behind it

EUNXY’s designer, Eunice Xu, studied visual communication at Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts before pursuing postgraduate study in jewelry culture and craftsmanship at China University of Geosciences. During that period, she also spent an academic year studying jewelry craft and culture at Tsinghua University’s Academy of Arts & Design.

In her account of the brand, Xu describes an interest in women’s strength as something with many forms. She includes the steadiness of ordinary life in that idea, and wants her jewelry to carry both gentleness and resolve.

That interest is visible in the pieces we selected. The cuff has a broad, almost flat face, while the earrings turn inward along their edges. Xu gives each shape enough definition to stand out, then lets a curve or a smaller detail soften it.

A circle set off balance

The Circle Growth Series Flip Cuff is built around the relationship between its two circles. The smaller one sits off-center, interrupting the edge of the larger disc. Behind them, the band takes a much quieter route around the wrist.

We like the difference between that fine band and the broad front. It gives the cuff a distinct shape without filling the whole wrist with metal. Worn below a sleeve, the disc can remain the one visible detail. There is no need to build an entire outfit around it.

Silver that takes the shape of a fold

Curtain approaches the same question through a longer line. The earrings are made in 925 sterling silver, with a narrow, curved upper section that opens into a wider fold below. The polished surface catches a bright strip of light along one edge and a deeper reflection inside the bend.

The name is easy to understand when you look closely. The form recalls a hanging fold of fabric, particularly where the lower edge turns back on itself. That is what we wanted to keep in the selection: the sense of a soft material held in a firm shape.

Pearls beside a curved silver edge

On the Princess Pea Choker, a row of freshwater pearls runs alongside curved sections of silver. Some pearls sit in view, while others are partly enclosed by the metal. Their slightly irregular shapes keep the line from becoming too uniform.

The pearls are approximately 6 mm and naturally vary from one another. That detail matters to the way the necklace looks. The silver provides a more continuous edge; the pearls give it a slower, uneven rhythm.

It is also why we would begin with a neckline that leaves the choker visible. Covering part of it changes the balance between the pearl strand and the silver curve.

These are EUNXY’s designs, selected by ARKVEIL for our Core collection. The product pages show each piece on its own and worn, so you can compare the detail with the full outline before choosing.
